Fiberlock- High Viscosity Ductwork Encapsulant - Fire-Rated & Mold-Resistant Coating

IAQ 8000 is a high-viscosity, semi-gloss coating designed for use in ductwork to bridge and reinforce duct liner or duct board insulation materials. It seals unlined ductwork prior to component removal, preventing the release of fiberglass and inanimate particulate into the air. Formulated to be durable, flexible, and moisture-resistant, IAQ 8000 minimizes dust buildup on the coating surface and reduces sagging and dripping when applied to vertical or top surfaces. It is ASTM E-84 Class A fire-rated and meets NFPA 90A/90B standards, making it ideal for HVAC and mold prevention applications. IAQ 8000 is resistant to mold growth on the dry coating surface, ensuring long-term protection for ductwork.

  • Application Tools: Brush, roller, or airless spray (2500-3000 PSI)

  • Storage: Store between 40°F (4.5°C) and 90°F (32°C)
