IAQ 8500 is a high-viscosity, semi-gloss coating designed for use in ductwork to bridge and reinforce duct liner or duct board insulation materials. It effectively seals unlined ductwork prior to component removal, preventing fiberglass and inanimate particulate from becoming airborne. IAQ 8500 forms a durable, flexible, and moisture-resistant protective coating, minimizing dust buildup on the surface. It has been tested to ASTM standards, including C-411 for hot surface performance, and meets ASTM E-84 Class A fire-rated standards. This coating also meets NFPA 90A/90B requirements, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards. IAQ 8500 is resistant to mold growth on the dry coating surface, offering long-term protection for ductwork and insulation materials.

• Application: Use on ductwork, fiberglass insulation, and unlined ducts

• Coverage: 200-600 sq. ft. per gallon (smooth surfaces), 75-175 sq. ft. per gallon (porous surfaces)

• Drying Time: 1-2 hours to touch, recoat in 4-8 hours

• Application Tools: Brush, roller, or airless spray (2500-3000 PSI)

• Storage: Store between 40°F (4.5°C) and 90°F (32°C)
