Brief Overview:
Fiberlock SurfaceShield® Protectant is a ready-to-use, clear-drying coating designed to block mold-supporting nutrients and protect porous building materials from mould and mildew damage. Unlike many antimicrobial coatings, SurfaceShield can be applied to damp surfaces (moisture content between 11%–30%), making it ideal for use immediately after remediation or during new construction projects.
Its breathable barrier allows moisture vapour to escape while preventing nutrient migration that can support microbial growth. This EPA-registered solution dries clear, won't peel or blister, and provides lasting protection on materials like wood, drywall, paper, and other porous substrates.
