Fiberlock- Asbestos Encapsulant – Thermal Insulation and Fireproofing Sealant
Lag Kote is a specially formulated asbestos encapsulant designed for use over a variety of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) such as spray-on fireproofing, asbestos-containing plasters and paints, transite, and asbestos thermal insulation. This water-based, 100% acrylic sealant minimizes drips, waste, and cleanup, while providing a smooth, washable, and aesthetically superior finish. Lag Kote offers excellent resistance to alkalis and UV, as well as rust resistance, making it ideal for long-term encapsulation projects. It was tested for the EPA by Battelle Laboratories and meets the necessary standards for effective asbestos containment and removal.
