TRAMEX – DS2 Dec Scanner – Non-Destructive Roofing Moisture Detection
Overview
TRAMEX - DS2 Dec Scanner - Non-Destructive Roofing Moisture Detection
The Tramex Dec Scanner DS2 is a mobile, non-destructive impedance moisture meter specifically engineered for roof moisture detection and leak tracing. Fully compliant with ASTM D7954, the DS2 enables professionals to instantly survey large roofing areas and detect underlying moisture conditions without damaging the surface.
Designed for use on a wide range of roofing systems, including single-ply, built-up, modified bitumen, and asphalt, the DS2 offers three sensitivity ranges to suit varying insulation depths and membrane thicknesses. This scanner is ideal for warranty inspections, leak detection, ongoing maintenance, and pre-repair assessments.
With its wide 609mm x 394mm scanning area, ergonomic control panel, and analog readout, the DS2 simplifies moisture mapping over expansive surfaces. Unlike nuclear meters, the DS2 requires no regulatory restrictions or licensing.
